About the event
I'm Dr. Marissa Lithopoulos, a UBC researcher aiming to bridge the gap between scientists and our community. Join us for a night of good tunes, big laughs, and exciting science! This science education fundraiser helps to support the live shows and the making of an educational album.
The event is taking place on the 2nd floor of the Gordon B. Shrum Building (6088 University Blvd). Please enter through the main doors, on the University Blvd side of the building and volunteers will direct you to the event space.
Meet your brilliant scientific panel:
Dr. Freda Miller is a neurobiologist and the Deputy Director of the UBC Michael Smith Laboratories. She is a pioneer in the stem cell field, discovering that our skin contains stem cells that are capable of repairing damaged tissue.
